Hi SamJz,
If you don't mind me asking what is your GPA like? And what was your TEAS score when you applied during Fall?
I applied prior Fall but I unfortunately got rejected... Pretty sure it was because my GPA wasn't competitive enough and I did hit minimum for the TEAS but they probably wanted higher ?
Hi
I did not have a high GPA. It was only 3.45
but I am 47 and have life experience, also I worked on my letter I passed it around to a couple of people that I trusted and edited it a couple of times before I felt comfortable sending it. I also had two very good recommendations one from a bio teacher and another from a job I had working with the elderly. To be honest I did not think I was going to get in because of my GPA going down during covid. I am not a online learner!! Don’t give up! The personal statement is very important and you need to stand out. Make memorable!
Wowwww that's a really high score good job! I hope to get that much of a high score when I retake it.
I actually got dismissed from a previous nursing program for not passing a nursing class.... do you think it would be wise to add that into my personal statement to HPU and how I can improve/make sure it doesn't happen again?

I am so scared about the tests already, been practicing my dosage calculations to be ahead of the game
Hi SamJz,
That is a great TEAS score! I'm currently trying to decide if I should retake the TEAS in order to be competitive (my score: 86). My GPA is solid and I already have a bachelor of science in another field. Hopefully, that will be enough to be accepted. This is my first time applying.
Have you found Brandon Craft's med dosage tutorials?

I've been watching some of the videos and following along on paper.
Wishing you lots of luck this time around!
