Has anyone used AACN's course "Acute and Critical Care Pharmacology"?

Hello!

First let me say "Thank you!" to all who contribute to this site. I have found it to be very helpful and encouraging since finding it during nursing school.

I have been working part-time in an ICU for about a year and feel I still have sooo much to learn. I have my nursing textbooks, med books, and NCLEX review books that I use but I would really like to find some online courses that would help.

So, my question is, has anyone taken the "Acute and Critical Care Pharmacology" course by the AACN and found it helpful? Does it go in depth on nursing implications? Would you say it is worth the money?

I am a member of the AACN and am working at the course "Promoting Excellence in Palliative and End-of-Life Care". I like the format but am disappointed that the content isn't more in depth. It is good, I just was expecting more. I'd like to hear some other opinions about the pharmacology course before I put out all that money.

What about the courses from The Society of Critical Care Medicine? I just discovered them today. Would they be appropriate for a staff nurse or are they geared towards the NP, MD, etc.?

Thank you for your time and responses!
