I recently took a KAPLAN course and I just took my boards yesterday -got a 75 :uhoh21: - I personally did not think the course was helpful but the CD was. Actually, I think my instructor sucked, she was new and could hardly ever anwser our questions. I would like to know other people's experiences!!!

I took the boards this week as well, and also studied Kaplan (and Saunders). I have been reading about how people think the NCLEX is similar to Kaplan. Well, when I was painfully answering the 75 questions I got, I thought the actual test was harder than Kaplan. I think Kaplan was a great review, because their questions on their CD do simulate what the NCLEX is like to some extent, but looking back, my string of questions on the NCLEX seemed harder than Kaplan and Saunders. :uhoh21: I do remember our Kaplan instructors telling us that it is a good sign that we are getting harder questions on the boards. Well, what if we can't answer those questions correctly? I never once felt like the test was adapting to me. Everything seemed hard - much harder than I thought. Good luck and keep us posted!

I just took the boards this week. I had 75 questions, and I felt the same way. I did not feel like it adapted to me at all, but I did pass! The kaplan cd definitely helped. :)
