Has anyone here taken the entrance exam (DET) for St. Paul's -- queens, ny

Hey everyone,

Well i'm looking to take the entrance exam for St. Paul's School of Nursing, and was just wondering if anyone here has taken it and can give me some information about it. I know what i should be studying, but i'm still nervous about it. On the sheet they gave me, it says nothing about word problems or geometry.... so we don't need to know that, right?? (hopefully)

Also, is it difficult?

Does anyone here go to the school? If so, can you please tell me about it.

If you don't mind me asking, how good does your score has to be before you get a call for an interview.

I had In the 80's for english and about a 90 for math... during my interview we reviewed my scores and basically my interviewer made it seem like it is more important how you score on certain categories. the test isnt bad at all so if you havent taken it yet... just dont take to much time reading the passages because they give you less than a minute each question!

Well, I took the test on Friday with about 20 other people and like everyone says the test really is not that difficult, but you have no time! The math was very easy and basic, but the english is difficult because of the time constraint.
