Has anyone studied with Kaplan to study for NCLEX?

Just graduated the LPN program and our school has been using Kaplan throughout the program. We had quarterly tests around finals. We just took an NCLEX review online and I really like it and their strategies. I have a classmate who's a pessimist who's not into the Kaplan thing. When we all get together to practice questions, he goes all over the place and uses so many resources. I want to practice kaplan and their strategies but it's hard when he doesn't use them also, it's actually a bit distracting.

I've heard from 99% of the people I've spoken with that Kaplan was their best study resource and you should stick with it - content, strategies, and everything... I guess this means I gotta study on my own?
