Moraine lost their nlnac accreditation after a visit last spring, but are still accredited by the ccne. They are in the process of getting back their nlnac, but Im not sure how long that will take. I recently finished their program. Like any schools they have their ups and downs. Personally, I would not attend their program until they get that accreditation back, since some hospitals require you to have graduate from an Nlnac accredited school. Getting hire as an ADN is hard enough without worrying about accreditations.I was recently told that Moraines nursing program lost their accredidation. Has anyone heard about this? Was it years ago? Are they accredited currently??
I just graduated from Moraine last December. Lydia Falbo, an excellent instructor, has become the new Director of Nursing. She is trusted to remain on top of things so that they do not lose accreditation again. The link below announces that Moraine was re-accredited. It's a tough program but rewarding.
