Has anyone gone to Prism Career Institute?

Published

Hello everyone! I start Prism career institutes LPN program on April 6th. I was wondering if anyone here has gone there and how their experience was. i'm super nervous about the whole experience and want to hear someone elses point of view on the school, class and clinical time. Thanks in advanced. :)

Hi! i just graduated from there 12/20/14! Like every school it has its up and downs. The best advice I can give you is pay attention, study hard and stay out of drama or unnecessary trouble and gossip! i have seen students have to repeat a whole term for failing clinicals due to bad behavior. I passed NCLEX first time and have gotten two job offers took me two weeks to find a job. Thank God. Best of luck and feel free to PM and keep in touch!

ohmygoodness! someone actually replied, i was beginning to think i was the only one that will attend or has attended prism. LOL I believe i did add you to contact list but i can't pm because i need to have 15 quality posts. :( how was orientation/first day of school for you? i feel like everything is going to fast but yet slow...i have drug test/background check next tuesday and then they haven't scheduled us for orientation yet.

I know the feeling:)!!! I felt just the way you are feeling now! School will be intense first semester. Orientation was almost 2 yrs ago! But I remember just taking in all the info:) I just started working and loving it! You can email me at [email protected] :)

@Niks09 Congrats

great advice. I start LPN program on March 29, 2016. I am excited and very nervous.

Hi LPNSn2B -

How was was your experience, are you still attending Prisim, I am schedule to start classes at the end of this month.

Did you attend the day or evening?

I have 5 more months at prism. It's not the best school but it's getting me where I need to be. They have a new DON and admin team. They are working really hard to fix things for the good of the school

Aww nice, great to hear that with new management things may improve. Thank you so much for your feedback, how are the classes, are they very difficult?
