I have heard great things from some of my instructors at Concorde. Just curious to read any comments of grad's or current students of this program. I know in the past the NCLEX pass rates were kinda low, but I've heard they have addressed these issues as of recently. I am looking to start this Fall. What appeals to me about U of P program is you take one class at a time. Theory (for one class) is 5 weeks, then if there is a clinical attached to that theory, it is 9 weeks. I know you go once a week for 4 hours and the rest is online. The major downside is the cost. However, I plan to take a lot of the requisite classes at Red Rocks Community College. Any thoughts or opinions appreciated!!

If you are currently an LPN and wish to get a BSN, there are much more cost effective ways to complete your training than the for profit university of phoenix. Find a non profit college that offers a bridge program and avoid any for profit institution. Remember, for profit institutions exist to make money for the shareholders, and they do that by charging you an arm and a leg, have zero standards for admission and do not grant faculty tenure status so that the shareholders can make more money. The hospital that I retired from will not grant interviews to BSNs from the University of Phoenix or any online school for positions which the BSN is required.
