I applied to both but haven't received anything yet. Just the receipt I got in person when turning in my app at Glendale! Have you sent in your TEAS scores yet?
Also, Glendale has a link to an excel thing where you can plug in your stats and it tells you what your Chancellor's Formula score is. Depends if they calculate your GPA the same way you did though, I guess.

I tried the excel from GCC's website and is that really how your Chancellor's Formula score is calculated? I played with it a little and it seems like it doesn't seem as hard as a lot of people make it out to be to meet the 75% requirement.

Yep, the chancellor's formula is a statewide thing, and I don't think they would post that spreadsheet if that wasn't what they used! :) Glendale is actually on the low end having 75% as a cut score. I know Valley and LACC require 80%, which I believe comes out to a 3.0 avg for each category with no repetitions. But again, they might calculate your GPA differently than you'd think, like with transferring quarter units to semester. And some schools don't use + or - for GPA either!

Hi everyone! Have any of you have applied to Glendale Community College or Pasadena City College for the Fall 2015 ADN program? Have you received any emails or calls from the school since you applied? Do they send emails to let you know you qualified for the chancellor's formula?
