Harford CC Spring 2017 Hopefuls!

Hi! After completing all of my prerequisites (aside from a P.E. course) and taking my TEAS exam, I turned in my application for the spring 2017 start at Harford Community College a few weeks ago. Honestly, I'm in a panic. lol. I wanted to know if there are any other applicants out there and, if so, if we could communicate with one another and offer each other some support and motivation. I have 20 points with a prerequisite GPA of 3.56/3.6. I'm really worried about my TEAS score, though, as I only made a 74% overall but I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that I can get in. I'm so nervous. November can't come fast enough!! Please tell me I'm not alone in this journey. I'd love to speak to other HCC applicants!

I am also applying. I have 20 points as well. I don't think it matters what your TEAS score is, it just matters how many points you have overall.

Hey @Dooonise I got into CCBC so If I get into HCC I will be giving up my spot. Just wanted to give a heads up in case anyone is waitlisted.

Hi there! I was hoping to get ahold of more applicants so I knew that I wasn't alone. Anyway, it's that time now. We should be getting our letters soon. I was told by the office that letters will be sent out a little late this year. But they SHOULD be on their way before Thanksgiving. We shall see. I'd like to know when anyone gets theirs. I'll be impatiently stalking the mailman. Lol.

I also applied for HCC Spring 2017 with 20 points. I'm anxiously waiting to hear back! I'm taking Microbiology now and I'm going to re-take the TEAS in January if I'm not accepted so my chances will be better next time around.

Ok guys. I'm kinda feeling lightheaded right now. I went to look at my OwlNet account. I was playing around with the site and looking at my unofficial transcript and where it USED to say Nursing (Prep) as my major, it now says Nursing (RN)!!!! I also went back into my registration status for Fall 2016 semester and my major is prep and then I went to Spring 2017 and it changed to RN. I haven't gotten any letters yet and I don't know if I'm reading too much into this but...!!!!! I'm calling tomorrow to see what's going on.

You don't need to call, it means you got accepted! I just checked mine and it changed over too! Congratulations!
