Harford CC FALL 2022

Hi everyone just creating this thread for anyone who applied to harford community college. This would be my 2nd time applying. I retook some classes so hopefully my chances are better!

Hey! I am applying to the Harford CC for the upcoming fall term as well. I am graduating with my bachelor's in Kinesiology this Spring so this is my first application to a bunch of CC's and Accelerated BSN programs. Harford is my first choice, even over ABSN programs since I could live back at home for free and I don't mind taking one extra semester to get the BSN through doing the ATB at Towson at a much cheaper price. If you don't mind, how many points did you apply with and what was your pre-req GPA for your previous application? I talked with an advisor, and he told me that I had a pretty decent application and during an average application cycle that I had above the normally necessary points.

I applied for Spring semester with 13 points and a 3.3, but I was taking a Winter course to get an A instead of a B & now I have 15 points with a 3.6 GPA.  I was told that Spring is harder to get into because there is less seats and they have grants, so 13 points is probably fine for fall but I didn’t want to risk it!

My friend who got in for Spring semester said most people who got in for Spring had 15 points or more! So hopefully I’m safe

Hi. I applied for Summer and fall start. Do either of you know about when we are supposed to get notified if we made it or not?

No, I looked at previous discussions & they were notified in April. I’m hoping it’s sooner because I applied for Summer & that would only give people a month to prepare which would suck. 

The application is still up on the website as well so I hope they aren’t still accepting applications

I’m pretty sure they aren’t. They mean what they say when they set the deadline. The application was open after the deadline for Spring app cycle as well.

Oh good that’s a bit of a relief! Keeping fingers crossed hopefully we know by the end of March! 

Registration opens April 1st, so I’m hoping that’s when they’ll send out letters.

No, but I’m really hoping to hear from them soon. I really wanted to do the Summer accelerated & it starts in May, so they aren’t giving people a lot of time to prepare if I do get accepted!

Same here. I’m worried about all the things we will have to do by whatever deadline they give us.
