Gyn/Urology Surgical

Hi,

I'm interviewing for an acute gyn/uro surgical RN residency (currently work as a tech in oncology/hematology/renal at the same hospital and I also have an interview on my unit).

I was wondering how the gyn/uro surgical unit compares to general surgery units other than procedures. What are generally the most common procedures? Pt needs? Length of stay? I have 3 years experience in MFM high risk OB as a medical assistant before I went to nursing school and really enjoyed it.
