Hi! I am currently in the ADN program at GTCC. The first semester was definitely rough and it really seems like the teachers don't fully understand how to work the online program they are using to deliver the readings and assignments. It can seem very frustrating and like you are in it alone, but it is doable. My advice to you so don't wait until it's too late to worry about passing. I know that sounds intuitive but we had people who failed the first couple of tests and felt fine because there were a lot of tests, but they ended up failing. Use every moment available to look over notes. Do the readings!! Yes they are tedious and time consuming but I passed every test because a lot of the test questions were pulled directly from the book. Just be prepared to put in about 30-40 hours a week outside of class time to read and study. You'll do great and good luck!
If you're doing it in the fall...ignore the Taylor professors completely. Especially if makes is still teaching. Prep u on LWW is your best friend. Do them til they're at s 100% and read key notes in chapters. If Owen's is still doing pharm be sure to ask her for help in her office hours. She's a great help. Take it from a retaker. That first time I took it had me so stressed after I aced biology and anatomy 👍

Hi! has anyone recently completed or currently in the Associates degree nursing program at GTCC? I'd love some insight on your experience.
