Guidance on how to become a epidemiologist in ireland

I am working as an anaesthetic nurse and wants to pursue master in public health to become an epidemiologist in Ireland. I want guidance on how to approach this course . Also I want to know the career prospect as an epidemiologist. Please consider replying my query.
