So my goal is to get into Grossmont nursing school in el cajon CA. I would like to take advantage of the new ADN to BSN program they have with PLNU. My question is this... What prerequisites do I need to meet?
From what I understood before the BSN was available at grossmont I just needed (in the science area) Bio, Anatomy, Physiology, and Micro... but now I have heard things like I need Organic chemistry and statistics. I keep trying to find this info online and can't seem to find a for sure answer.
Can anyone in the program or have knowledge of it tell me?
Also from what I understand I would earn an ADN at Grossmont then take the Nclex... then continue on for my BSN with PLNU?

You might want to call PLNU just to see when you would have to have all your prerequisites complete. I hear the nursing director is very nice and she is always willing to answer questions.

Hi! I am one of the PLNU Program Advisors for the RN to BSN program.
The pre-requisites for the program are that you have taken the courses and received your ADN (with a minimum 2.75 GPA) and that you have taken the NCLEX-RN and have an unencumbered RN licence number.
There is a requirement that a statistics course be taken by the second semester of the program, so if you haven't done that before enrolling it is recommended.
