Gross MD!

There's a MD that graduated from Harvard and very nice and approachable BUT has the bedside manner of a pig! While dictating he digs in his nose and flicts boogers AND wears the same clothing ALL week long, sleeps in his car in the parking lot, falls asleep in the day room while patients ask who's laying on the couch? While showing him a wound he introduced himself to the patient and then proceeds to dig in his nose and flict the booger? All I could say was REALLY? Are there other MD's out there like this one???

Ewe....:barf01:

No, not too many. Gross.

Um...Id be speaking to someone about that. Or encourage the patients to "constructively complain" to a head MD or something similar (like on a Press Ganey ... lol).

is this for real?

Um....er.... I would be leaving it alone.

He will learn soon enough ... or not at all never LOL

Are you kidding me?! This has to be made up. Nobody can be that nasty. Love it sleeping on the couch. I have thought about doing that myself or sleeping in my car after a long night shift.

Oh well I had a good laugh out of this anyways.

Okay, thats REALLY disgusting!!

Now with that said. . . Whats wrong with sleeping in your car in the parking lot? I've been known to do that on my lunch breaks (especially when I was pregnant) and I don't see anything wrong with it if you're particularly fatigued. Play some music real low, (my windows are tinted), run the AC, set your alarm so you don't oversleep and you're good to go! Better than practicing unsafely because you're so dead tired.

Power Naps Rock!

Sounds like Dr. House!

Seriously though.. I was reading some of the OPs other posts..

There is an LPN that wears her nametag backwards and calls herself an RN..

A friend nurse with terrible BO...

A doctor who picks his nose around patients...

hmmmmmm

Not that I know of. There are those who fall into the category of "lovable schlump", though. They are older guys who you can see their legs between their socks and pant cuffs when they sit down, scuffy shoes, and at least 20% of their shirt tail out over their belt at any given time. Their offices usually look like a cyclone hit and the patients love them to pieces. But they bathe, live in homes and don't go diggin' for gold right there in front of people! Ewwwww - is he "OK" mentally?
