Great hospitals in greater Seattle area????

Hi everyone, I have traveled before but it's been 10 years. Considering the greater Seattle area in WA, I am not from there but I am visiting now, for the next three days, checking out areas. We are looking in Shoreline, Issaquah, and Maple Valley area. Any hospitals you would share with me that have been great to work at would be great! Any hospitals or health systems I might stay away from as a traveler! Thank you for your input!

I have friends who work at Seattle Children's and they love it.

Specializes in critical care.

I have heard good things about Overlake in Bellevue. Harborview is the larger trauma center and you could learn a ton there. Also had a friend working NICU at Seattle Children and he loved it.

Specializes in CVICU CCRN.

I've heard great things about Virginia Mason. Not sure what's going on with Swedish at the moment but have friends who've worked there in the past and enjoyed it. Overall it seems that the nursing culture in Seattle is pretty good.
