Hello Fellow Nurses,

I will be graduating with my MSN as nurse educator in August . Ideally I would like to find a party time online job . Any suggestions on where to start?

Seriously though...part-time instructor for an online nursing program? I don't know much about it, but is it a possibility?

I am an adjunct faculty member in an online program. I got the job because the school is in the area I live ... and I knew several members of the faculty because we work together at a local hospital. They were looking for a couple of part time people to help with a few online courses and asked if I was interested. So I wrote a letter and sent a vitae to the department head. I don't know if there were even official positions posted. I was in the right place at the right time and had made a positive impression on the faculty I interacted with in my regular job.

There aren't a lot of part time, online positions advertised. It pays to network while having another job until you find a fit at a school near you.
