Graduate with BSN in Dec - Now right to grad school?

Ok so I graduate with my BSN in December and I do want to continue with a masters degree in Family Nurse Practitioner. I am also seriously considering the Doctorate of Nursing Practice program that they will be switiching to in 2015, but not all universities accept fresh BSN's. I would like to work while I go to school. The thing I would like advice on is, go straight into school or work for awhile to gain experience? I'm 21 and can pick up and go and I feel finishing right away while I am in school mode would be great.

Also, if anyone has recently taken the GRE, I would love your take on it. Did you study a lot? I am studying for my boards right now and I don't know if that would be too much on my plate. Thanks so much!
