Graceland University Online FNP Opinions/Reviews

Hi all! I just applied to the online FNP program at Graceland University. I just read the handbook on the program and it says upon acceptance you will need to choose between part time or full time. Fulltime would be two courses per trimester, and part time would be one course per trimester. Full time would be 2.5 years and I believe part time would be 4 years. I would love to hear from previous or current Graceland University online FNP or any other online FNP students. I have to continue to work full time (three 12 hour shifts/week) and I am also a single mom to a three year old. I don't want to set myself up for failure by filling my plate too full. Is fulltime online manageable? I just would like to hear others thoughts and opinions! Thanks so much!

You will be assigned a program counselor who can adjust your program of study. Ideally everyone would do what they wanted at application but Graceland understands real life. I've been there since January and full time is doable.

What do you mean by adjust your program of study? Do they not just have set curriculum for full time & part time?

The curriculum is the same but the pace is different. If full time is too challenging, you can work with your program consultant and take the lighter load in future terms.

I would like to follow this post as I am in a very similar situation with working and balancing single parenting of a 5 and 2 year old.
