Government Navajo IHS Positions

Hello Everyone

I started working for the Navajo Indian Health Service about three years ago and I loved it. I have worked with several Travel Agencies but now they are not paying my current agency. I still get paid but has anyone heard this or had this problem?

I have heard of this. One of the USPHS nurses I go to school with told me that the IHS hospital she had worked at had stopped paying the contract agencies d/t financial issues.

Hello,

The hospital stopped paying the contract agency? Yet, do the GS, Tribal and the USPHS nurses still get paid?

I wonder if the contract agency knew this in advance or not....what a shame!

The government workers still got paid. I guess that is a different pot of money altogether.
