I'm hopefully trying to get into the nursing school of my choice to graduate with my BSN in 2009, however if I get in I'll graduate in the summer (August at the latest). When does the OIS enroll? How long does the OIS last?

Good luck, Gennaver! I actually went to a career fair at the local university near me (my school's doing a 2-2 year BSN program and the university had the fair) and the Army was there. I'm thinking I might want to continue military nursing after my time in the Navy's up... what's your opinion?
Thank you NavyCheerGirl,
I think that you would not be alone in following your Navy Nurse career with an Army nurse career! Go for it!

Gennaver, what's it like to be an Army nurse? How many nurses are at the fronts and how many nurses are in hospitals within the US and outside the US?
