Hi all,
I just got a new position in the ED for the night shift. My offer letter says my hourly rate is 41.12$ and then below that it says night differential = 10%. Is the 10% already included in the 41.12 or is it an additional 10% on top of the 41.12. If someone could clear this up for me I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

Typically, they list your base pay and then list the diffs after. unless they had some language that would indicate otherwise, I would assume you can add the 10% on top!

Typically you have your base pay ($41.12) and then you add your differentials (10%) on top of that. I've never personally seen an offer made any other way but you would have to check with HR or your recruiter to be sure.
