Hello,
I am wondering if anyone can share their experiences with Home Health companies in the Toledo, OH area (big, small, profit or non-profit). I am wanting to know about:
types of patients-adults, children, hospice, dementia, dialysis (are they separated or do the nurses have a mixed caseload
training-updates, latest technology, ceu's
orientation-how long
how much skills are being utilized
support from management-are you forced to deal with horrible patients or families to keep the account
scheduling-weekends, on call time, holidays, full-time, part-time, shift start time
pay-how it compares to acute care, hourly or per visit, weekly or certain dates
charting-paper or laptop available
benefits-insurance, or insurance reimbursement, vacation, sick or personal time, mileage reimbursement or uniform allowance, supplies provided, tuition reimbursement
Overall do you recommend the company? Any help is greatly appreciated.
