Hi everyone. This is my first posting and I just had to share my thoughts about NCLEX. I took my test on 7-26-05 and it was much more difficult than I had anticipated. There were many delegation, prioritizing, and check all that apply questions. There were very few questions about general knowledge on specific conditions, treatments or medications. I always did well testing in school and did very well on assessment tests given before graduation but NCLEX kicked my butt. I felt that I was guessing at a lot of them. The last time I looked I was in the low70's numbers and there weren't many questions after that and then BAM it cut off. I left Pearsons feeling like a failure. I live in NC and can't get quick results but I have checked the state board of nursing website and nothing yet. Congratulations to those of you that have passed and I am right there with those of you that are waiting for your results like I am. This is sheer torture!!!

Goodluck, keep us posted. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!!!!
We all think that way when we take the test, leave the test, and wait for the results....it sucks...I'm sure you did fine!!!

I was the same way in school and I felt the same way. I had around 8 question on you were the charge nurse and maternity nurse came to your floor (of coorifice with 4 different answers a question). See to me that toward the end the questions were getting easier. The three "superstars" of my class said the same thing, the couldn't tell if they pass.
PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just found out

Don't forget that it shuts off when you are missing half of them, how can you NOT feel like a failure at that rate?
It sounds like you had pumped the machine up to a difficult level and were excelling at that.
Pass or fail, (and I believe you passed), you can do nothing but wait now anyway so GO CELEBRATE.
We do ALL pretty much feel like failures when we leave. I took the time waiting for results to research what I needed to do re-test and found out that was wasted effort. I should have hit the beach instead.
