Going to clinicals while sick?

Hi everyone! I was wondering how everyone feels about working while sick. Just got back from the doctor, acute sinusitis, again!! Got antibiotics so hopefully they will work within a few days, but right now feeling pretty much like poo! I have clinicals in the morning and will only be there for a few hours (geriatric depression study for class). Not like I will get anyone else sick, but I feel bad about breathing and hacking all over the elderly patients. What does everyone think? I really don't want to miss a day of clinicals! Thanks for any advice!

Is there any policy on make-up days for clinicals? I would hesitate to go to work sick, especially with the elderly.
