Great! It is hard to say what the school will think of your GPA b/c some weigh an overall GPA and others go by the pre-req GPA and still others go by both. I'd recommended speaking to your advisor to see how they weigh everything. I have heard that doing well on the TEAS makes up for lack luster GPAs. You may also consider an Accelerated BSN program because sometimes those are easier to get into than regular programs. They are programs for people who already hold BS degrees in other areas. GL to you!
Hello, I got in for the fall '09 nursing class at Gordon College. I also hold a degree (Bachelors of Arts in English). As far as Gordon College goes, they just pretty much go through all of the courses you've taken that pertain the nursing degree there at Gordon. It definitely helps out if you've made pretty decent grades thus far. I do strongly advise you to do as well as you possibly can in the A&P since it's the last pre-req you have left to take. As far as the TEAS goes, Gordon does'nt really have a certain score that they mark as a cut-off. From what I understand and what was told to me by my advisor, they just simply take the best scores from the pool of applicants at that given application period. I hope this helps:up:

Hey there! I have enrolled at Gordon College for the Fall and am sitting for the Teas next month. I have a BBA from UGA. Do you think that will weigh at all for acceptance into the nursing program? I am applying right now. I am nervous. My GPA was not the best when I graduated 10 years ago. I am hoping they will not hold that against me.
