Giving IVTT meds at once and pt on morphine prec recieving trama

Hello to everybody here! I have a question about giving IVTT meds given on same schedule. I am just starting with my Nursing career. Started just last month. Currently assigned as OB Nurse. Sometimes I am assigned to post CS ward in which commonly my pts are ordered with IVTT meds givin on same schedule:

Ampicillin and Ranitidine

Gentamicin and Metronidazole

Ketorolac and Tramadol

(sometimes ampi+rani+keto and trama).

My question is, is there no adverse effects or S/Sx I should closely watch in giving the above said meds on same schedule? Also, is there some special precaution i should observe in giving Trama to patient who's on morphine prec? What are the possible s/sx i should be alarmed ? Most of them are asleep or appears weak post op and i would hardly tell if theyre still trying to recuperate post op or if its something i should be alarmed in relation to the meds administered.My monitoring tool is limited only to BP and temp monitoring. We dont have O2 sat monitoring in our ward.

Anytime anyone is on opioids you should be checking the resp rate, and sedation level. (Tramadol and Morphine included). As for the other drugs (and all drugs in general), you should be looking this information up. There should be a parental policy manual on your unit, or some sort of computer based system where this information is available (side effects/ compatability).
