I've just been accepted into the Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing and was wondering what tips you all have for new people starting the nursing program? What supplies have you purchased that you love? What nursing youtube channels have helped expand your knowledge for classes/clinicals?

Hello! I am starting the program In January. I know you’ve been in the program. I was wondering if now you could offer us newbies some advice? Much appreciated!
Hi! Congratulations on your acceptance into Tech!!!! I would personally rent any books you don't have to have access codes for. Look at the bottom of your booklist and purchase what you can from lippincott's site at the bottom of the list. It's usually cheaper than other sites. Get a good stethescope. Davis q&a fundamentals book is a life saver! It's not a book on the list but definitely buy it. Make a weekly to do list for all your assignments to stay on top of them and try to do all the busy work in the beginning before clinicals start. Mostly breathe. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Thank you so much!! I will definitely take your advice. I am so nervous and excited to start. How are the professors?
Also, when do students actually start doing clinicals? Sorry, that popped in my head after I already replied lol.
The professors are good! In your first semester you will start 5 weeks into the program so after spring break. Unless they change it.
Oh wow! That’s pretty quick. Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my questions!
No problem! Good luck!
