It seems from everything I've read about BCC, it's nearly impossible to get in. I have a BS in Business from Umass Dartmouth ('03), and really wanted to get an ASN so I could just get out there faster.
Now that I know how tough it is to get into BCC, I'm considering Umass Dartmouth. I know they have no TEAS or entrance exam...but I'm wondering how competitive their admissions are? They don't post anywhere on their website or have info sessions that I could find any information on in terms of what they are looking for in their candidates.
Any info from anyone who has applied or gotten in would be great...thanks!
Thanks for the info. I work at St. Luke's as a HUC, so I'm *hoping* that I can make friends with one of the clinical instructors when they start up again in January for the spring semester LOL

Hey there, I graduated UMD in 2001 from the BSN program. It was as competative back then as I see someone in now says it is. It may help that you are an alumni of UMD. Good luck! My only recomendation is that you have everything you need to apply and send it in all at once. This way your application will be complete the moment they receive it. There will be less delays for you too. Good luck!
