I am currently speaking to one of the nursing recruiters with VHCS. She is going to be putting me in for a job at The Medical Center of Aurora. I am a bit nervous as this will be my first travel nursing experience. I was asking her basic questions about housing, insurance, salary, etc. and she did not seem very knowledgeable about her company. She seems very nice, but I know nice isn't gonna cut it if the poo hits the fan and I need help somewhere.
Has anyone worked for Valley Healthcare Systems? Has anyone taken an assignment at The Aurora Medical Center? Any insight will be appreciated.

While I have not worked for VHCS, I encourage you to email this recruiter with your questions and do not proceed with any job submissions until all your questions are answered. She may not know the answers or she is purposely being vague. The later is sometimes true with new travel nurses. Either way, you need to know what you are getting yourself into. Travel nursing is a business. You need to make good, informed business decisions. I wish you luck!!

I'm curious as to how everything turned out. I am currently applying to VHS as well for a Colorado position.
