Getting into NP school with a low GPA

Published

Can anyone give me some advice on trying to get into NP school... I goofed off in the beginning of my college career and now I'm paying for it. Of course my GPA for the BSN program is higher than a 3.0, but my cumulative is only a 2.92. I was very interested in Frontiers FNP program, but the admissions counselor told me the only way I could get in would be to obtain an MSN, have a 3.0 GPA at least in that program, and then apply. Soooo that doesn't help me. Any other programs I should look at? I feel like my dreams are crushed. I've looked at Georgetown, but it's so much more expensive and I thought Frontier was a much better fit for me. Thanks!!!
