Hello.
I'm currently wrapping up my prerequisite work to get into a nursing program. The nursing program that I'm attempting to get into requires 60 hours of health care experience. I figured the best way to get this out of the way was to land a job in a hospital. I just moved to San Diego and I'm jobless at the moment so the pieces just fit. The only downside is that I have never worked in a hospital. I am certified in CPR though. What kind of jobs should I be looking for? The majority of positions require some amount of time of hospital experience. Are there other facilities besides hospitals I should check out. Any advice given is appreciated.Thanks.

It's going to be tough without some kind of experience, but some doctor's offices will train employees. Nursing homes often train their own CNAs as well.
