Hi everyone! I'm looking for some advice from anyone who's been in a similar situation.
I'm planning to apply to the ASN program at Georgia State Perimeter for Fall 2026. But I'm confused about the application process and timeline.
From what I understand, you have to apply to the school itself (Perimeter College) by November 1st, and then apply to the nursing program by January 31st.
Here's where I'm stuck:
I currently attend Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC), and I'm planning to stay here through Summer 2026.
This Fall (2025), I'm taking A&P I and English II
Spring (2026): I'm planning to take A&P II and Psychology II
Summer (2026): I'll take Microbiology
So I'd still be at GGC while trying to apply to Perimeter's ASN program and wouldn't finish Microbiology until the Summer after the application deadline.
Has anyone else applied while still finishing classes at another school? Is it possible to apply like this? Or would I be better off just waiting and doing the BSN program instead?
I feel kind of stuck — if I wait another semester, I might just go for the BSN, but I'm trying to keep my options open.
