Georgia Southwestern State/Accelerated BSN

Hi,

I am relocating from Massachusetts and would like some information about Georgia Southwestern State's accelerated BSN program. Does anyone know anyone who has gone through the program? Does it have a good reputation?

I already have a BS in an unrelated field (science-related) and a Masters in El. Ed. After 7 years as a teacher, I am looking for a career change.

I am currently taking some prereq. courses for nursing programs in Mass. - the move to Georgia was not anticipated and I thought I had my plan all worked out. I will be certified as a CNA before the middle of August and am hoping I can find a job as a CNA once we move. Since I will be newly cerified as a CNA/HHA, I am also wondering about reciprocity from one state to another.

My husband will be working in Hawkinsville, GA., so I need to be withing driving distance. I am not sure where we will be living yet, so if anyone can offer advice/recommendations on that I would love to hear from you.

GSS seems as if it would be withing a reasonable driving distance. Please help! We are anticipating the move to be sometime in September.
