I was just wanting to see how my fellow students are doing with applying and having to wait till October to find out if we got accepted into the program starting Spring 2013.
How did everyone do on their TEAS?
Any questions or concerns?

I just found this website today! I guess I will see everyone tomorrow for orientation. It was nice to "get to know" some of the other accepted students :-) Oh, I thought the Facebook page was a great idea!
I am going to go ahead and start the Facebook page then. Jenn-E how do I find you on FB?
I created a GROUP for our class- ignore the PAGE! I do not want a page because it is not private. If you cannot add the group than just PM me and I will send you my FB name and you can find the group that way.
I have not done this before, so if you have any ideas let me know!

Hello everyone and again CONGRATS!!!! I know you all are preparing for next month, so as I promised here is a list of a few books that will help you through your first semester. These can be found on Amazon.com....
- Kaplan NCLEX PN book! (It will help you understand the concepts as well as with critical thinking)
-Taber's Medical Dictionary (I believe this is a requirement)
- Nursing Diagnosis Handbook: An Evidence-Based Guide to Planning Care, 9 (it will help you understand the concept of care planning and make it easier for you, care planning comes 2nd semester though)
-Med/Surg made incredibly easy (This is also 2nd semester...and third)
-Mosby's Pharmacology Memory Notecards (A must have for all 3 semesters...my friend said these were a life saver in Pharmacology)
- Last, but not least........A DRUG HANDBOOK
Wishing you all the best throughout nursing school and your nursing careers:up:

I was adviced against applying to Chattahoochee Technical college Austel campus for ADN program,by several former students. It is still not credited and lectures are very hostile.one major problem as stated was computer testing that fails during test taking besides substandard lectures.most lectures who taught 2011 resigned due to professionalism problems. you might need to reconsider CTC.Im waiting to here from Georgia Highlands .All the best.
