Georgetown University and Cost

Hello all,

I'm continuing to research FNP programs for when I separate from the military. I contacted GU regarding their cost and if the GI Bill + Yellow Ribbon program would cover the costs. I will have 100% of the 36 months of GI Bill benefits. The Nursing advisor referred me to a military admissions counsellor who looked up the Online Nursing program's tuition and told me it looked like there would be around $8500 difference per year. O_O

I had read a few posts on here stating some nurses used the GI bill at GU and said it covered most expenses combined with Yellow Ribbon. Is this the amount others who have used the GI Bill/YRP encountered? An additional $8500 seems excessive, although I know thats a drop in the bucket compared to the actual cost of the program.
