b) .03x = 36 then x = 36/.03 then x = 1200

The first problem just seems so simple to me I wanted to check!

May 12, '04Occupation: Operations Management Joined: Mar '04; Posts: 123; Likes: 5(1/8) divided by (1/12) becomes (1/8 ) times (12/1) which is (12/8). This can be reduced to (3/2 or 1 1/2) Not sure what you mean by the rest of the problem though.

I was changing everything into decimals:
.125 / .083 x 2 = 3.012
