Hi,

I'm from central Missouri. I'm trying to get into the Nicholas Career Center LPN program in Jefferson City. I was supposed to find out this week if I passed my test but everyone was sick there at the school so they didn't get the scores sent out. I will find out next week for sure though!!!! Of course, passing the test doesn't mean I get in. I still have to have an interview with the program director and get my background test results back (I'm totally sure I passed that!)... Anywho, I think I have talked with you before back in Nov. or Dec.... Maybe I'm remembering wrong. So, you want to be a LPN too? That's cool :) I really want to go for my RN but I don't have the time or the money as of right now. I'm a married mom with two kids in the process of trying to sale my house. :) I hope I can move to JC before school starts (if I get in that is!). The program begins in Aug. It's a 1 year one and will include the I.V. certification program too I think :) Well, Talk to you soon!

Hello again! Actually I am currently enrolled in an RN program. I am in my last semester of prereq's right now, but struggling to get my GPA up so I will get accepted! I did really, really bad about 11 years ago in college, so I am trying to fix that now. If I don't get in I am looking into the LPN program near where I live, and later bridge over to the RN. But like you, I have three children, ages 8,5,and 2, and it's really hard doing everything. But I really do love being in school, it makes me feel good about myself. I am finally doing something that I have wanted to do for a long time. I won't find out till March if I got in, so that is killing me!
