I'm worried I might have to take remedial because of my placement test

I took my English course today, for my score I got a 76 in college reading. I rushed that one to be honest and I got a 86 in grammar . We also had to write an essay ,but I didn't get to fully correct it so now I'm panicking that I might have to take a remedial class , because I couldn't finish editing my essay and I missed out on the last two sentences .

P.S The essay is a huge portion of the placement test score , I'm wondering if I should take summer classes just to get it out of the way .

Are you able to retake the placement test if you don't hit what you want? I know my friend was given the opportunity to retake the exam for a small fee (and I believe could have taken it some additional times), but the fee was a lot less than the cost of a remedial class.

The test I took was a retake ,but I have no idea if I can take it again I will ask if the essay score is low .
