Capping and Pin

a few weeks ago we finished our 1st semester and we were capped by the graduating class. we were also given small pins in the shape of a nurses' cap. we are required to wear this pin on our uniform for clinicals but were not told where to wear the pin. i asked the director and she sain that i could wear it on my collar or name badge. i asked where she wanted us to wear it and she said that she did not care where we wore it. does anyone else have a pin and where do they wear it on thier uniform?
