I got the call on Monday, that is very little for LVNs! Way more competitive!

Wow thats so little! Isn't usually 7 spots? Do you know how many LVN applied? I got a 96 on reading and 94 on math, but I got in as generic.
I heard that 40 applied and only 5 got in.
Hmmm Monday.....we both got called Wednesday. My friend didn't get in this go around. I have to wait until Tuesday to find out. I wish they would have just said yes or no on the voicemail. í ½í¸“

Hi everyone! I applied as a generic and got the acceptance call on Monday! Yay!
Hopefully they accepted all my pre-reqs, so I am hoping I just need algebra. Anyone else have most of their pre-reqs complete? I am hoping it saves quite a bit of money.
I finished all of the pre-reqs, it was roughly 20k off tuition! Total saving

Out of curiosity; what have they told you about them transferring to a different accrediting agency? I applied at Brightwood in Van Nuys and the fact that there's no guarantee they will be accepted by ACCET by June 12, 2018 makes me a bit nervous.
It worries me, too. I have a number of people I work with who graduated from there, but this, of course, was before the accrediting issue. I havent read any fine print....if we start and pay the money, and they dont get accredited in June, do we get our money back? I would think not. Im trying to be hopeful that it all works out!

Yeah me as well. I was thinking of waiting until if they got accredited or not, but i dont have a choice of waiting that long. Also as long as we are able to take the NCLEX I think I'm fine and since I do want to get a BSN after there are still schools out there that accept the credits from Brightwood.
Same, as long as we're still able to get our RN. license- I'm ok. Somewhere will accept me for RN-BSN

Did they ever fix their accreditation issue? If I am not accepted into SWC LVN program I plan on applying at Brightwood.
