Workers Comp

Anyone out there working as a case manager for Workes Comp? I have a interview coming up and wondering about the pros and cons of this job.

I have worked UR and case management jobbs for insurance co in the past, and did not like them. I felt too much like the bad guy, did not like denying days to patients that are so sick! I am hoping that tjhis might be different. I would appreciate any and all feedback.

Well, I sure do wish you luck. I am a DNS and deal with WC continuously. I think that most people on WC are sincerely injured, but it is the few that are trying to work the system that will drive you insane! I work very closely with our insurance carrier and, together, we try to make the best of things. Not an easy job for sure, but one that will certainly keep you busy. Best of luck.
