what's the real name for squeemishness?

I was just curious if there was a real name for this and if anyone knew a good way to get over it. I used to be super, mega squeemish as a kid and have been getting better over the last few years, but I am a little worried that it will happen when I am in nursing school.

I watch all the trauma shows on the Discovery Health Channel without any problems and was able to help my grandmother in the hospital too. I did feel a tiny bit of that familiar ickiness when they took her blood, but I think that may have been just because I saw her get teary-eyed.

I would be so embarrassed if I passed out or threw up during nursing school. I can't really google it to learn more because I don't know the real name of it. Anyone?

Thank you

ok, I found it! It is called "situational syncope." Here is an article on how to get over it:
