Yep..i got a new job. i dont know if any of you remember some time abck but i was pishin' and moanin' about what to do about working in an OB unit that was low-risk. I was trying to weigh out whether or not I should just suck it up and get my experience regardless or move on to a larger and faster paced teaching hospital with high risk patients.
And I am doing it....starting in January. I am very, very excited.
And scared too....but it makes me nervous excited, ya know?
it might be more of a hike ( its on the east side of the city), but it pays a wee more, and they do around twice the amount of deliveries that we do now.
plus we rotate btw pp/l&d/ and a GYN med-surg floor, NOT peds and critical nursery.
PLUS since i was still contingent status in the hosp. system I worked at as a student, I get to continue with my senority.
YEHAW!
well just like you all said, u knew it would pan out...and it did!
