problem: working with a dangerous nurse

Now, made the complaint through my agency, the hospital responded saying that they knew there were problems with this nurse and they were putting her back on orientation and they told my agency that they thought I was wonderful and they really appreciated my being a patient advocate. Well, I came back to work tonight and that nurse is not on orientation, she is working and taking a full load, and management came through and told the day shift nurses that I was the only one with a problem with this nurse.

I have put another call into my agency....not sure what to do next......am so frustrated.

I asked my recruiter about that tonight, she said we will discuss that on Monday, I don't blame her, she is at home and not on call......she gave me her cell number in case there were any problems.

I no longer trust them and that means I need to move on.

Sounds like you have had a hard time at your assignment. I'm so sorry! ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))). I hope things work out for you and that you don't have to return to this hospital to work with a smarmy nurse again!

never mind, i found the previous thread. wow, she sounds very unsafe! i don't blame you one bit for being nervous to work with her, especially since she refuses to accept any help or advice from other RN's. (you, especially, since you are agency.)

again, do what you have to do to keep your license. it sounds like you are being supported, both at home and by your agency.

leslasic.........ty for the hugs, I am so tired.

On the way home yesterday.......the hospital called and offered me last night off....without penalties..........since I have issues with this nurse......told them I would take it, of course, here in a few hours I will be calling in for tonight.

It was so relaxing to be at home yesterday, even though I had been up approx 30hours when I got here.

My dh had planted roses for me and other beautiful flowers, he had a delicious meal ready for me, he had washed the sheets and had the bed all made........trying to remember why I leave
