please help. I am currently an RN student, but would like to go ahead and take the LVN test so that I can "get my feet wet" while I finish up the program. I want to work part time until I take the RN Inclex exam. I was told that I can take the LVN test if I have passed 4 semesters of clinicals, which I have (I retook a semester because my son was in Iraq and I could not concentrate). Does anyone know anything about this; and if so, how I go about getting the information and registering to take the test? Thank you

Have you contacted the Texas Board of Nursing? I would think that would be your first step.
