I've had a low grade temp about 99.3-99.5 for over a week. was taking tylenol sinus thinking it was just allergies. Thursday began getting sick. My two friends and brother are sick too. it was a sore throat and stuffy nose, and painful cough. i just started a new job too yesterday. i went but my nose just kept running. By the time I got home last night my muscles hurt really bad, coughing, nose still running, throat scratchy, fever at 100.3, today i missed work the manager insists that it was ok. I didn't want to give them the impression right off the bat that I wasn't going to be a reliable worker. today i'm tired, sneezing, coughing, and nose still running. but normal temp about 98.4 my belly hurt too and i had some diarreah. if it's a virus, being a nursing student, i know he can't do much about it. i just got concerned when coming up just one step hurt so bad i wanted to cry. this is a big deli, busy all the time, but i've worked there before and in the past year have worked as a cna but came back cause of school. anyway, i was surprised it made me that tired in comparison to the work i've been doing lately.

Going to the Dr. is a judgement call on your part, but it sounds like

you definately shouldn't be going to work at a deli until your symptoms

subside.
