my dad has alzheimer's and is unable to care for himself-- he was taken to a doctor today-- through an email (i live out of state) i was told that my mother might be able to put him in senior care for two to three weeks, let them run some tests and see what kind of progress he is making on his medicine, she might be able to get someone to come in during the week and help with him, or she might be able to put him in a nursing home if there is no progress with his medicine-- what is this senior care and how does it work-- my father is unable to carry on a conversation-- he makes no sense-- can someone help me to understand what is going on? any input will be much appreciated
