Hello all nurses,

I started working as a Resident care coordinator over a month ago. Really love my job and I am already attached to the managment team and the staff there. My biggest issue right now is that I am pregnant 6months. Nobody knew about it when I got hired. Now I started to show and nobody ever asked too. I feel like telling my boss, but I just dont know how to proceed. Need help how to start the conversation. Dont want to let them down, especialy when I have to take my maternity leave in mid- april. Any advice to tell my team will be helpful!!

Wear a shirt that has the word "Baby" with the arrow pointing down.... if you're 6 months and nobody has a clue, you NEED to tell them. Either that or check to see if THEY are breathing - :lol2:

Should something untoward happen they need to be able to tell EMS how far along you are (not meaning to sound creepy- but even a simple "faint" which isn't uncommon in pregnant folks could mean a trip to the ER). Safety thing :)

What's to figure out? "Say, Bosslady- I haven't said much, but I'm 6 months pregnant and SO happy"
